Hauling & Material Support
Spoils out, rock and bedding in, so the trench never waits.
Overview
Hauling & Materials.
Underground work generates and consumes a lot of material, and a job stalls fast when the trucks are not there. Through affiliated trucking resources, Castello Brothers keeps spoils moving out and rock, bedding, pipe and backfill moving in so the crew in the trench never waits on a delivery.
We coordinate hauling around the excavation and install so the site stays clean and productive. Spoil gets removed as trenches are opened, and bedding and backfill show up as the pipe goes in, keeping the whole operation flowing instead of stacking up.
Having hauling and material support tied to the utility crew means one point of coordination. We schedule the trucks against the dig, so you are not chasing separate haulers or losing a day because the rock did not show.

Why It Matters
Built Right the
First Time.
- 01
The Job Never Waits
Bedding, rock and backfill show up when the crew needs them and spoil leaves as trenches open, so the dig keeps moving.
- 02
One Point of Coordination
Hauling tied to the utility crew means one schedule to manage, not a separate hauler you have to chase.
- 03
A Cleaner Site
Spoil and excess get removed as the work goes, keeping the site clean, safe and workable for every trade on it.
- 04
Right Material, Right Time
Rock, sand, bedding and select fill delivered to match the install so the crew is never held up sourcing material.
How We Work
From First Cut
to Final Backfill.
- 01
Plan the Material Flow
We look at the excavation and install plan and map out what needs to come in and go out, and when, so trucking matches the work.
- 02
Haul Spoil Out
As trenches are opened, spoil and excess material are removed to keep the site clean and the excavation moving.
- 03
Deliver Material In
Rock, sand, bedding, backfill and pipe are delivered to the work so the crew has what it needs at the trench.
- 04
Keep It Flowing
We schedule trucks against the dig and adjust as the work moves, so material support never becomes the bottleneck.

Common Questions
Good to
Know.
Bidding a job or have a question about this scope? Call us at (469) 245-1215 and talk to the people doing the work.
What can you haul?
Through affiliated trucking resources we haul spoil and excess material out and bring rock, sand, bedding, backfill and pipe in, scheduled around the excavation and install.
Is hauling only available with your utility work?
It pairs naturally with our underground crews, but the value is the coordination. Having hauling tied to the dig means one schedule and no waiting on a separate hauler.
How do you keep material from holding up the crew?
We plan the material flow against the install and schedule trucks to match, so bedding and backfill arrive as the pipe goes in and spoil leaves as trenches open.
