Underground Utility Installation

One underground sub for water, sewer, storm and fire on your site.

Overview

Underground Utilities.

Castello Brothers installs the wet utilities that every commercial, civil and municipal project depends on. We take the underground scope from stakeout and excavation all the way through pipe placement, structures, bedding, backfill and final tie-ins to the existing system.

Bringing in one sub for water, sanitary sewer, storm drainage and fire lines keeps your underground package coordinated under a single point of contact. Fewer handoffs means fewer conflicts in the trench, cleaner grade transitions between systems and a schedule that does not stall waiting on another crew.

We read the civil plans, verify the utility plan against field conditions and flag conflicts before they cost you time. When the ground is open, we work efficiently and protect the crews, the structures and the existing utilities around us.

Why It Matters

Built Right the
First Time.

  • 01

    One Coordinated Scope

Water, sewer, storm and fire lines handled by one crew, so the underground package stays coordinated instead of split across subs that do not talk to each other.

  • 02

    Plans-First Execution

Blueprint Reading certified crews build to line and grade. What goes in the ground matches the civil sheets, and conflicts get flagged before they become change orders.

  • 03

    Schedule You Can Build Around

Responsive scheduling and direct communication keep your critical path moving. We show up ready and keep the trade behind us on track.

  • 04

    Safe Deep Work

OSHA certified operators comfortable in deep cuts, trench boxes and tight tie-ins around live utilities and existing structures.

How We Work

From First Cut
to Final Backfill.

  1. 01

    Plan Review & Layout

We review the civil and utility plans, confirm depths and slopes, locate existing utilities and stake the work before the first cut.

  2. 02

    Excavation & Shoring

Trenches are opened and protected with trench boxes or shoring, with dewatering as needed to keep a stable, safe working grade.

  3. 03

    Pipe & Structure Installation

Pipe is bedded and set to line and grade, structures are placed, and joints, services and appurtenances are installed to spec.

  4. 04

    Backfill, Test & Restore

We backfill in lifts with proper compaction, support testing and inspection, then tie in to the existing system and restore the site.

Common Questions

Good to
Know.

Bidding a job or have a question about this scope? Call us at (469) 245-1215 and talk to the people doing the work.

Do you self-perform all of the underground trades?

Yes. We self-perform water, sanitary sewer, storm drainage and underground fire lines, along with the excavation, structures and backfill that tie them together, so your wet-utility scope stays under one crew.

Will you coordinate with our schedule and other trades?

That is how we work. We sequence around your site work, dirt package and paving, keep communication direct and adjust as the schedule moves so we are not the trade holding up your critical path.

What size and type of projects do you take on?

Commercial, civil and municipal site development across Dallas-Fort Worth, from single-building sites to larger infrastructure packages involving deep cuts, precast structures and large-diameter pipe.
